Shimano Sedona FI Spinning Reel

The iconic Shimano Sedona has stepped up a gear for with the new FI series. In the pursuit of excellence, Shimano has again raised the standard. They have incorporated the Hagane cold forged gear. Models in the series range from 1000 up to 5000 and feature 3+1 bearings as well as drag output between 3kgs and 11kgs.

At the heart of the Sedona FI line of spinning reels is Shimano’s state-of-the-art technology, the HAGANE Gear. Incorporating HAGANE cold-forging technology gives it a step up from other reels in its class. This provides long-lasting smoothness and durability for assured resilience even after countless battles with your target species.

The Shimano Sedona FI series also includes models for everything from light freshwater to heavier offshore species thanks to improved drag power and increased gear ratios.

The Sedona FI’s enhanced spool design features Shimano’s Propulsion Line Management System so it has increased casting distance. The G-Free body shifts the reel’s center of gravity closer to the rod so it translates to less fatigue during long days on the water and enhanced casting & jigging comfort.
